History

Originally built for Güneş Tamer, the former Turkish Minister of Economy, this yacht was modeled after a winning design from international sailing races between England and the U.S.

She was actively sailed along the Aegean coast and Greek islands in recent years by a former board member of the Istanbul Sailing Club.

In 2005, Orion underwent a full professional restoration in Sarıyer, Istanbul, by the same team that restored the legendary yacht Savarona.
